If you click on this &lt;a href="http://cap.kintera.org/faf/home/ccp.asp?ievent=339739&amp;lis=1&amp;ccp=98980"&gt;link&lt;/a&gt;, then hit "Join A Team," we are listed under Portland State University Queer Resource Center.  The event takes place on October 3, 2010 and is a 2.5 mile walk and rally.  The area opens at 9:00a.m. and the walk starts at 11a.m.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone can join the team and anyone can throw money toward the event.  We're trying to raise $100.00, and there is no penalty for not meeting the goal. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thank you so much to all of the volunteers who've already joined the QRC team!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In addition to walking on our school team, volunteers are needed to set-up, tear-down, take pictures, greet participants, prepare food, design a scavenger hunt and more! Practicum: Queer Resource Center, &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Speaker's Bureau&lt;/span&gt; (1-2 credits available)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Queer Resource Center is offering a 1-2 credit practicum experience (30 hours - 60hours, averaging 3-6 hours a week) during Fall 2010 and Winter 2011 terms. Practicum students will work with the Queer Resource Center Speaker's Bureau. The Bureau is committed to contributing to a Portland State University campus environment that is free from homophobia, heterosexism and gender bias. Speakers accomplish this by sharing their stories and experiences around gender identity, sexual orientation, and all marginalized and intersecting identities in classrooms, student groups, faculty gatherings and in the Portland community.
